The system also supports clinical assessment through automated analysis. With the AutoEF feature, Caption AI can calculate left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) once appropriate cardiac views are obtained. The system analyses images from one or more key views including parasternal long-axis (PLAX) and apical two- and four-chamber views (AP2 and AP4) with accuracy improving as additional views are captured. This provides clinicians with rapid insights that can help inform patient evaluation and support timely clinical decisions.
Vscan Air SL with Caption AI supports a wide range of standard echocardiographic views, including parasternal long-axis and short-axis views, apical two-, three-, four-, and five-chamber views, and subcostal cardiac and inferior vena cava views.
